Oh my God it's so soon and I took on two commissions juuuuust before Ayacon hahahahaha nope nope nope can it still be July please? I am so not ready and want to crawl under my covers and hide from my sewing machine and piles of fabric, it doesn't exist, nope XD

So my exams are finally over and I am free to do whatever the hell I want until September now :>
I've already spent time procrastinating from revision by playing the violin a lot. Now I can play it guilt free! And when I return home I have access to my piano too. I've bought some new books lately that I've been itching to read, I never use to read much, but there were certain books that caught my attention. And of course there's all the TV catch up I need to do aha, may even start watching anime again.
In three weeks I'll be in Japan Expo in Paris again! I have three costumes planned and in need of a fourth, it needs to be highly practic

My friend and I were thinking about cosplaying from Princess Tutu. And I wanted to get your opinion on something. I know that you took ballet (for years, as I recall?). So what's your opinion on someone cosplaying from it who has no ballet experience? I was trying to find a ballet studio nearby with adult classes but there are none. :/
((We both adore Rue/Kraehe so I'll be doing Kraehe and my friend will be Rue. At least, we hope we can pull it off. XD ha ha.))

I can personally always tell when a cosplayer can't do ballet or not. It entirely depends whether you want to be critiqued in that way or not. I mean I never mention anything but I can just tell. It really doesn't matter though, if you don't want ballet experience then don't bother - no point wasting money! But if you'd be up for trying something new then ballet is fantastic, I've loved it all these years and always think people should go for it because it's such a fun hobby and fantastic for your posture and flexibility!

I came across your deviantArt page via CosplayIsland as I was looking for references for a Saiyaman cosplay that I want to do next year and I remember meeting you at MCM Expo a few years ago as you were kind enough to lend me a panda toy for a Nerima Daikon Brothers cosplay.
No way, I remember you!! It has been so long now haha! How have you been? Do you still go to MCM Expo? I haven't been on those forums (at least not regularly) in years now so I'm rather out the loop I find.
