Kyo Sohma hat

I have no idea what category to put this in so it shall go in Artisan Crafts' Accessories category for now!

My first kitty hat, yaaay! Based on Kyo Sohma's [Fruits Basket] design. I'm making character hats for my friend's birthday [Nat & Fliss] and so I decided on making them matching Kyo and Yuki hats. Didn't know what to get them both individually so yeaaaah, at least it's not matching towels like I keep telling them as a joke LOL Oh the humour of twins...

For my first I'm really proud of this, the main section was done on the machine and the band and kitty ears and hand sewn [cause all that fabric won't fit under the machine LOL] using double stitching for extra strength. These hats are really easy to make but extremely time consuming when hand sewing because with numerous layers of polar fleece it gets hard to push the needle through damnit. Ah but still it was a pleasure to sew, it doesn't fray! YAAAAY!

I may get better shots sometime, but for now live with the webcam photos >D

EDIT: Didn't have time to make a new one so I customized my first kitty hat instead! Unlike the official Kyo hats that have 4 veins popping up I have 3, I've always prefered anger marks to have 3 vein popping out so now you know this is my own and not store bought ;D
